Back-action SL is tour de force for large caliber elephant gun. thumb The thing has three good things going for it: lock type, H&H name and H&H caliber. It's location is hardly surprising, since Atlanta is Manhattan Island of the South with plenty of "Moneybags".
PS. I would round off that pad and stretch pigskin over it. cigar

That appears to be one fine rifle. It's been on GunBroker for a while now (not the first attempt). What's a good going price for a piece like that ?

Thanks Peter. I hit bid history and log on box came up. I feel like homer Gee, a Bhm BL on W&S action in very good shape costs about 15,0000USD now, so how do they expect to get that one for $19,000?

Looks like our own Judge placed a couple of bids on it. He's not the top bidder at this time.

The Dominion oozes H&H. Cool The 'Royal' could be mistaken for: Arrieta, Vic Sarasqueta, something Flemish, or Italian from a distance. CRYBABY This thing is precious! thumb
You also get some components, Mullholland Bros. case, and lovely sling made of what appears to be buff hide.

Reserve not met at 28,5K? Craaazy! Did Lewis and Drake move to Norcross, Ga? Probably not, that place would have it listed at 50++K.

It's not my gun, but 28,500 is darn good bid for that one. Gee, why sell family hairloom anyway. It's practically a relic, so gun control will not banish it unless there is a total ban of firearms in USA. Well, perhaps there are some 'Royals' stashed in that villa, who knows. Confused
