I remember years ago when i bought my first ever centerfire, it was a 22-250, thought it was huuuuge compared to what i had played with till then, mate of mine was flabbergasted at its mighty boom when ignited.
Today i look at it go pffft, pain in the neck little cartridge to load.

P.S. and i only got my fist big bore about two years ago lol.

The 45-70 IS a cute little case next to a 600Overkill

Too bad there is not a lever-action repeater strong enough for the 600!!
