GOB.458 African
Has anyone used the .458 African and if so how does has it worked out in the field for you. Also any problems finding head stamped cartrige cases?

jeffeossothe 458 african is similar to the 458 vincents and my 458 Accurrate Reloading -
i can speak volumes around the concept of taking a RUM or 404 case, and making big bores to fit standard length actions.
please check the links in my signature for info on the accurate reloading rounds.

This is the 3" Express based on a lengthened Lott case. I believe the 'African Express' is a based on a .404 cas shortened to 2.6", similar, as mentioned above, to the .450 Vincent Short

LionHunterExamine the .458B&M built on a Winchester WSM receiver by SSK and designed to shoot the .458 B&M cartridge loaded with the CEB bullets in 450gr solid and 420gr non-con to the same POI. A short (18" or 20" bbl) light rifle which will deliver performance between that of a .458wm and .458Lott. It will be very handy in the bush.
Mine is currently undergoing load development and I cannot wait to get my hands on it. It will replace my RSM .458Lott.
