The Tulsa gun show was a little disappointing this weekend. I sold absolutely nothing. There were some nice things that I found. Brevex 300 barrelled action in of all things, 333 Atkinson Improved. What is that?? I also found a Mauser Banner 1934 military rifle. No crest on the front receiver ring but just the Mauser Banner. I bought some nice dangerous game scopes. One is 1,1-4,5 30mm Kales and a Zeiss 1,25-4 30mm. Both in near new condition.

I didn't make it. Sorry you didn't sell much but sounds like you made some good buys.

You should be grateful for having a GUN show. Local ones where I live amount to nothing more then "beef jerky n bubbaflage" affairs. CRYBABY
It's not all CRYBABY,I picked up a mint S&W 27 .357Mag with presentation case/"tools"/papers (including unfilled warranty card) at local shop. dancing

I had to teach a concealed handgun class and was not able to make the Tulsa show. Are there many big bores at that show, and doubles?

You can borrow money, but you can't borrow time. Don't wait, go now.

I saw at least 25 big bore rifles at the show. I saw one 450 3.25 Army and Navy with the Webley long bar action that could/should have been bought by me. Weighed 10.5 lbs., 28" barrels. The metal had been reworked poorly but the action was sound. The bores were dark but minimal erosion. It was a user not a collector.

I found a dealer there with three unfired but no box CZ 550 Safari's there. He got them all from the same in-need-of-cash person. All had American style stocks - plain walnut. One in .375 H&H which I snagged for $700 out the door. He also had one in .416 Rigby for only slightly more. I think the other was 458 Win Mag. Thought I did alright.

WOW, My first trip to Tulsa and I thought I was in heaven. lb404 had some great rifles there, but they were out of my poor boy price range. I did manage to get a Sako L61R 375 in mint condition for $650. I think it was an ok deal. Still didn't find what I was really looking for a 300 H & H. We had to leave early due to ilness in the family. lb404, did you sell that weather by mk 5 stock?

I could not find anyone to ride to Tulsa. I just stayed at home and reloaded. I will save that money for the pilgrimage to the DRSS gathering. thumb

lb404 sorry I didn't get to meet you at Tulsa. I was by your tables twice and you were out shopping. You have some really nice guns and I would sure be proud to own one of them. Maybe so if some gas wells come in that we have invested in. For starters I have 300 wby mk 5 that stock sure would look good on. How much are you asking? Thanks
