It's not a true big bore, but it's close enough to the 375h&h,My wife has drawn a wood bison permit and she shoots a custom 9.3x64,286gr partition @2550fps,is the nosler sutible for a 2200lb animal or should we use an x bullet or 300gr swift a frame?

Trust me the 9,3x64 is with partition or 296gr TUG an excellent choice for that hunt. By the way you can load it stronger than the 375H&H... [Smile]

She won't have a problem with the 286 Nosler...I like the 320 gr. Woodleigh at 2500 for big stuff and the 300 gr. Swift...you have a world of options and your probably shooting the worlds greatest all around rifle caliber.

286 grain Nosler partition in 9,3X64. The bison will NOT complain over poor performance [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

I have seen have seen a very large Eland bull shoot with the nosler. It dropped right on the spot.

Nothing to worry about at all. Go for it.

Let us know how the hunt goes [Big Grin]

Cheers
