Platforms for a .577 BPE?
Other than Greener Martini actions for the shorter .577 BPEs, and of course the Ruger No. 1, any other AFFORDABLE actions out there that would accommodate one of these rounds and have at least a modicum of class?

the handrifle is one, if you build a nice stock and heavy barrl.. the mossberg SSI...

and, if course, you could always sleeve a sxs shotgun!!

Jeffe, yes, unfortunately the "class" factor enters in. Really, the H&R 20 bore rifled slug shotgun is a cheap big bore, but fails the aforementioned test.
Have a friend here in southern Oregon, Mark Beinke, who makes very fine barrel liners. I should speak with him.
