Thanks Rob.

I'm working on some .585" bullets that will be around 750gr. I'll keep you informed as to the developments for a low cost solid bullet.

Thanks Rob your leg work is appreciated. I would be interested in some .585 projectiles as well. I wonder it were possible to make a light hollowpoint or really quick exapnding projectile for use on thin skinned stuff. Which is what I will be using mine for.

I am a bit of a late-comer to this discussion but I understand that you guys are organising some .585 Nyati cases as an alternative to Bertram cases.
I am currently putting together a .585 Nyati project (so far I have a barrel blank, action, reamer, headspace guages) and so will be looking for some cases, shortly.
I guess that it is too late to add on to your existing order but I would be interested in being part of any follow-on orders, if that is no problem. How much will these cases be?

Rob,

They are $2.08 US a case.

If you e-mail Rob and send him a wire transfer he may be able to add to the list. You can only try. [Cool]

PC- I just got invited to OZ to give a scientific talk in December. I think it's in Melbourne. I'm toying with getting in some Buff hunting in the NT with Simon Lyttle. Perhaps we can get together Where are you located and how's the hunting?.-Rob

Robert EP- Before you start your NYATI project give me a call or E-mail and I'll fill you in on the right approach. These things are not trivial and I'd be happy to see you avoid all the problems we went through. The Brass order was completed last week and if you want some I think the best thing now is to contact Dieter Horneber directly. I can give you his number or try DHorneber@aol.com.-Rob
