I am going to use Talley QD rings on my upcoming 375 and Lott. I heard a few rumors of the levers causing problems. Feedback is appreciated as to chosing the levers or the screw lock rings.
Thank you

I've had them on a .416 rem mag for 4-5 years never any problems.

The only problem I had was the lever being loose when I did not realize it had come loose. I think that is considered user error. homer

I have had no problems with the levers coming loose.

I have had return to zero problems. Shoot, remove, remount and the groups move up to about an inch at 100yds, generally left or right.

I've had trouble with the levers working loose on both my .45-70 and 416 Remington. I replaced them both with the screw lock rings, and haven't had a problem since. Talley will replace them for free.

Both cases of them coming loose was caused by brush in the woods catching the levers and thereby loosening them. "Hand tight" is not good enough with the levers. You have to crank them down. The screw lock rings look better too. JMHO. Jeff

If you don't tighten the levers, they may work loose.

Also, if you levers protrude over the ejection port, the cases may hang up on ejection. Fortunately, you can set the levers' position easily by backing the offside screw out and resetting the levers' starting points.
