Well as far as the rifle goes the proto type stock is almost done and when the barreled action gets back from the ATF Mike will have to put some serious hours into finishing it.

Good to hear things are progressing. I am really looking forward to hearing about the finished rifle and range reports with different bullet/load combos. I don't know if its possible (probably not) but I would dearly love to have my 550 Mag completed by April/May next year for ground squirrel action ! I think this is a great project and can't wait till I get mine. Thanks for all the effort you put into this!
