Here is my first real attempt at working up a load for the .375 H&H with the CEB solids and Noncons. The third target is a .416 Rem. All loads were shot at 50 yards from a "somewhat" stable bench and are 5 shot groups.
Other than a few not on the spot shots, I think they shoot very well.

Found the CEB's shot equally as well in my 400H&H. What powders were you using in the 416 and the 375?

Zephyr,
I loaded the .375 with IMR4064 and I will have to check my load notes to find out the powder for the .416. I will and let you know tomorrow.
From an almost shaky rest, I was impressed. I believe that'll do. I will refine my loads and chrono them and post the results.

You should be happy with that! How available are these bullets here in the US?

CEBs are made in the United States! Look them up on the internet, then order there or give them a call. Great people...they must all be left-handed.

Rick, last 416 Remingtons I loaded I used IMR 4320 as well, found it to be excellent in my rifles that I was testing with, and Lionhunters Son-in-law used them for buffalo, I think last year, great success with that load.

That is some really good shooting Rick. These bullets are so precise in the making, that the consistency from one bullet to the next is near perfect, something that cannot be said for most any conventional bullet.

One day I am going to grow up and learn to shoot like Ricky!!!!!!

By the way, Fjold, I tried these bullets in calibers from .224, .243, .257, .308, and on up to .458. All turned in excellent accuracy with minimal load development. I have a Browning Lever Action in .450 Marlin that, using CEBs, outshoots .458 bolt guns using other bullets!

Did you ever try those 250 #13 NonCons in your 450???? Curious......

I am running those in one of the 18 inch 458 B&Ms at 2900 fps and intend to see how they
do on wildebeast, zebra, or whatever stands still long enough for me to turn one loose in July.

michael458,

I picked up some 250 and 295 grainer's in .458 to load up in the .458 Lott, and I'll have to give everyone here a range report as soon as I'm able to get out. They certainly look deadly!

Mike,
Nope, haven't tried the 250gr bullets yet. Been tied up working on several of my rat guns, i.e. .223, .22-250, .243 (two of them), and .25-06. Trying to decide which to take on my next safari. dancing
