Anybody used one of these? If so, what do you think? Midsouth has them on sale. I'm thinking about getting one for working up loads in my Lott. Can only do about 20 rnds off the bench before it gets to be too much. Thanks! -Steve

Steve, I've not used the Lead Sled, but I have a BenchMark benchrest by Aspen Outdoors. It's great when doing load development with my .470 Capstick. George

George, Thanks for the tip. I've tried a few searches for the BenchMark benchrest and Aspen Outdoors. I wasn't too lucky in finding anything. Do you have a link handy where I might be able to look at one? -Steve

Sorry, Steve. Cabela's used to sell these, but they seem to have dropped it from their line. I bought mine from a fellow AR member. My endorsement is more for the concept than any particular brand. A friend has the Benchmaster, which is very similar Benchmaster . George

I bought one when they went on sale to regulate the express sights on my big guns under construction. They aren't ready yet so I haven't had the occaision to use it. I can say that is is well made and looks as if it should work much better than nothing at all.
