There was a thread about this a while back on the Beartooth Bullets website. I think the basic conclusion was that it was inaccurate in .410. Check it out for yourself.

I just read in another forum that you can put Remington 410 guage, 2.5 inch shells into a 444 and they will load, shoot and eject. Has anyone else tried this? Does it hurt the barrels rifling?

I'm facinated in finding out if this is accurate or not.
