oh i didnt think the nyatie could go that i high i thought it was limited to about 2250..... guess i was wrong.

in that case i can get a 5 shot nyatie for about 10k fully custumized with engraved floor plate.

like ryan breeding and mr hubel stated the 585 van horn is nothing more than a longer version of the 585 nyatie.

and soon to come out is the 60 caliber van horn

Steve,
for the price, the GMA better come with life time "Servicing"...

the nyati can go 2400 FPS, and, having seen teh fired brass, quite a bit more...

to each his own, and best of luck

rns he might have told me what is your real name????

if i get a 585 i would probably be shooting monolithic solids. even the 750 woodleigh can easly hande impact velositys of 2400 fps no problem any higher than that and the bases bulge a little not much but enough to be noticeable. penetration is phenominal from what i have been told

700 NITRO

Did Ryan tell you that he is working on getting headstamped brass for both of them, (I am helping him with that part)

I would go with the biggest one I could get. Then drive each bullet at it's designed impact velocity you could use the longer cases for the solids. It sounds like Ryan has his brass dimentions worked out where if you go with hte < !--color--> (look I pulled a jeffe) nyati you will have to contact Robgunbuilder and find out how he had to neck ream the chamber to get the brass to feed.

jeffoso thanks for the reply and i really appresiate the imput.

i am left handed so i am stuck to certain actions.

the nice thing about the 585 van horn it is basicaly a improved 585 nyatie and 577 tyrannasuar so i can easly load down to say 2150 but i can aslo load up to just under 2600 fps

and i would much prefer to use a granite moutain arms action rather than a mt rifle man the quality is far superiour from what i have been told and what i have seen for my applicatiions.
