What I can't belive is that some idiot took a 460 Weatherby (which,IMO,is a prefectly nice and fancy rifle as it comes),and then did THAT to it.Like I said before, either a pimp ordered it or the gunsmith was smoking locco weed when he made it!
Now,I can't see why they had to put the rubys and the gold and all that crap on it.For the price of all that, they could have added some tasteful engraving. If they would have just rebarreld the gun and left it with the Weatherby stock,it would have been a fine rifle.

Sorry brian for the <<<SNIP>> of your post, couldn't resist!
You are right about useing the money better though! He could have simply bought a better rifle to start with, the gaudy crap he installed fits right in with Gaudy Weatherby rifles, they all remind me of gold teeth, too much jewelry, and Cheap perfume!
Again, couldn't resist!

Mental note to self-next time in Texas, kick Mac's butt.Next time in Australia, have Mike375 take me to his whorehouse.Any whorehouse that keeps an Jap made 378 behind the counter just HAS to be a high class establishment.
I am a little reluctant to comment here. The last time I mentioned Weatherby and pimp in the same sentence, some A$$h*le from Alaska flamed me. Although I own two Weatherbys (Accumark and Lazermark), I still believe that if a pimp were to go hunting he would probably carry a Weatherby - depending on his success as a pimp, his Weatherby may have a ruby or diamond as well.

Why a ruby and gold inlayings???
Reminds me of German show-guns with a lot of engraving with gold or silver animals and wood carvings of beasts and tree branches. Nothing for a serious hunter, IMHO.
