I got a new wholesale catalog from one of my suppliers today (I have a FFL). Looking thru it, I see that Remington already had a $100 price increase on the yet to be released 798 Safari Magnum over the previous catalog. I guess that goes along with the $135 increase in cost for the unreleased side by side in 45-70.
Just thought you guys would like to know....

As long as they're not available is price important?

Some people pay up to $400 for steel cartridge box. Lets see, a quarter rib on custom rifle can cost more than Ruger BIG Magnum. PS. Well, if yearly bonus is $2mil or more, buy WR 'Gorilla' .600NE SLE, or is it BLE (droplock design), I forget. Either way it's leather-covered oak care keeper.

Hold the presses! Remington is going to release a side by side 45-70?!?!? I haven't seen any information on this double. I sure hope it's not based off of a Parker.......those are $49K!!!
