The Purdy is superb. I have fired a short (16in) sxs 12 g with 40gm loads one handed and I can only say that it was memoriable. Would certainly be the goods for something mean up close. Von Gruff. | |||

That cabela/pedersoli offering is interesing. Seems like a fine line here between a illegal shotgun and antique pistol. Is percussion muzzle loader exempt? Might be good on rabbit in the thick stuff with a screw in choke. | |||

Yes they are exempt. Cherry's sells all three versions ( sxs 20 ga, sxs 50 cal, sxs combo). They are a blast to shoot. Rick DRSS | |||
