Starting another 600,but want to do a Drop Mag this time,3 down and 1 in the tube!..The stock will be fitted around it so it looks like a "Tadpole belly"!...Though,I do like the mag protruding also, really a rugged look too?! bewildered..Any pics of yours or others? Thanks! patriot

I'm using a prototype floorplate drop box at the momment, not quite what your looking for but it works fine. It's made from reinforced nylon or something like that, very dificult to break

Wouldn't a machined floorplate with a bit of depth give you the extra capacity, that's basically what this is

Here is my 416 Taylor on a HOWA action, it was a 300 WM looking for a new home, originally it was 3 down 1 up

With the floorplate drop box, It's now 5 down 1 up which gives me the luxury of me some serious backup fire

regards

Kewl...If this was a glass all weather gun,I would copy that...The Floorplate you mentioned will work, but I want it to LOOK like a drop mag, plus hold 3 down...The Schuler look may be it? I am sure some BB Nuts here will direct me to the right look and pics! Smiler thumb

Take a look at an old Westley Richards 425 bolt gun. Their drop box magazine is pure sex and will give you more room for those bannana sized shells.
