Your final chance to get my 600 Overkill at a steal. Final couple days on gunbroker.

The only rifle I saw in 600 Overkill was $11,500.00 starting price.
Since I wouldn't want to steal something, I'd better pass.

It's a beautiful rifle and probably pretty good for buffalo, assuming that the rebated cartridge feeds smoothly. And with such a well-crafted rifle, that is probably a given.

416, Some of Wayne's guns are built on Granite Mountain actions, most on a worked CZ 550. That's why you see the price difference, as the GM action alone is probably close to $4K.

That's quite a rifle, Frank.
What action?

What sort of loads do you shoot?

I think that one is a reworked CZ550, still a very fine action, and a definite steal.

If this is the rifle I'm thinking of ,(formerly owned by Idaho Sharpshooter), it is built on an MRC action.

That's right, it's an MRC PH action. It's the only 600 we built on the PH and probably the only one in existance. Definately a cool rifle and a great price.

Thanks for the updated info.
This is a very fine rifle built by Wayne.
It includes dies, brass and bullets. Don't let it get away from you at this ridiculous price.

Yes, they all come with removable X-Brakes. There's a nice unknurled cap that covers the threads up to the front sight shroud, so you can't even tell it had a brake on it. Up to 2,100 fps is ok without a brake, especially if you shoot the lighter 750gr bullets.

Here it is when we had just finished it. It is something to heft; you can feel the testosterone pouring out of it.
