NOw and then one find a nice old rifle, gun, and I start to dream...what if and so...Hope I am not the only one.

So, two days ago, I was looking at a double gun, smooth bore, in pinfire.

How is it to use that today? Can brass be found??

In the mean time, still dreaming of the good old day`s.

Vegard, yes, you can load for pinfires. I have long been tempted to do this, as the older pinfire doubles can be had quite reasonably. Ross Seyfried wrote up his technique in an issue of Black Powder Hunting magazine. If you PM me your mailing address I would be pleased to send you a copy.
