If anyone can do it, Duane Wiebe can:

http://customgunandrifle.com/i...icle&id=26&Itemid=22

Even though his Rigby box offers 4-down in .416 Rigby, consider that the standard CZ offers only 3-down, but there is enough compression room for almost 4 down, or enough to load that 4th round off the top of the box without having to do the "side pinch" on the extractor.
I have seen some factory CZ Rigby rifles that hold 4 down in the box, through whatever abberation of stock and sheetmetal box.

If Duane's Rigby bottom metal is truly +1 more than the standard factory CZ, through trapezoidal shape and pocket plate, you might be able to surf that 5th cartridge off the top of the box, for a 5-shooter instead of a 4-shooter.
Or you might be able to get 5 down by adding 0.1" of depth by whatever devious means imaginable, for a 6-shooter.

But if you are using the belted 460 Wby case as for a .535/460 Wby Magnum, the belt is a little broader than the Rigby head ...

Duane charges about $635 for the Mauser 98 bottom metal that holds 3 down in 500 Jeffery, a standard offering.
For about another $400 on top of that, he also makes an M98 bottom metal set that allows 4 down in 500 Jeffery, just over $1000, US,
for a 5-shooter 500 Jeffery.

And Duane's boxes are built like bank vaults, integral and thick walled especially in the front of the box.
You won't be needing to reinforce the front wall of a sheetmetal CZ box if you get one of his setups,
complete with follower and spring, and a set of screws that can be custom fitted and timed to heart's content.

Thanks Ron, I am in contact with Duane now. I have to admit being greedy I was hoping the options would handle more but it kept reading Rigby 4 right down the page Smiler . Albiet with Duanes its a 'real' 4+1 so as you say not needing to pinch exstractors etc. Duane said any more capacity would be an expensive custom option. I've asked him for a price on this anyway.

This interests me greatly, dependant on cost I'd be in for one.

Here is the "Rigby Wiebe" for $540 (current price on the web page), that holds 4-down in .416 Rigby.
A 5-down would be very interesting indeed, as long as it can be used in a CZ Kevlar stock as made by B&C (and thus the other CZ factory stocks too),
and comes with a new follower, spring, and custom screws.
Not having to have a custom stock built for it will be a real plus.
Might mean a little deeper pocket on the floor plate. tu2

Definetly built like a tank as you said Ron!

Duane is looking at an option with least amount of mods needed, rather than having random gorillas like myself possibly screw up any technicalities during the fitting stage.

PC if it pans out , we could see if he is interested in a group buy.I will be getting at least one myself.

This is all tentative of course, as may not be a viable process. Fingers crossed and drooling in the meantime though Big Grin
