Has anyone had any experience with ammunition from Conley Precision ammo?
Their prices seem very reasonable.
Any comments on accuracy or chrono'd any of their loads?

They shot good and chronographed good and the guy I talked to was very nice. They where very slow wiht orders for a friend. I ordered 8 boxes got an email conmfirmation waited about 90 days called back and they did not even know what I was talking about. That was a couple years ago and I never went back.

Shot a box of 500 gr Triple Shocks out of my RSM .458 Lott a couple of years ago. IIRC they chrono'd about 2290fps and accuracy was great. Also produced noticably less recoil than Hornady factory loads.

Downside was delivery, as my experience was simular to Tradewinds, and that was enough to keep me from ordering from them again.

Avoid them like the plague! They "jacked" me around for more than six months on a simple order of 458 Winchester Magnums without delivering anything but B.S. about why the order was late in being processed. They charged my Credit Card the full amount the day I ordered, so I had to really work had to convince my Card Company to issue a "charge-back" because of the period of time involved. I think old man Conley either died or retired, and now his wayward son is running the business into ground. I used them quite a bit several years ago, but never again after this latest fiasco.

Suggest you check out Superior Ammunition in Sturgis, SD. I have ordered three times through them and they've been prompt, fairly priced, and efficient. Velocities are consistent.

I will be ordering some .375's and .458 Win mags in a couple of weeks after Larry returns from SCI.

Suggest you avoid Conley and check out Superior Ammo. I have bought from Superior on several occassions and would not hesitate to do it again.

My experience with Conely was poor at best waiting for call backs and no answers.

My experience with Superior Ammo was exactly the opposite. A great experience and a superior product.

I called the guys at Superior for a question, but they are at Reno. A question for you guys who use them: Do they provide nominal velocities for their loads (like factory) or is it up to you to chrono it?

Thanks,

_Baxter

Their website or maybe it was their price list used to provide that a ballistic printout was available for a small fee. I do not see it on the .PDF price list.
