Saeed, as a person whom has taken more buffalo than probably everyone on this forum combined, I'm thinking you would have reasonable answers to the following questions. How much better is the .416 caliber on buffalo than the .375 caliber? What caliber really shows a drastic improvement in killing power from the legal minimum 9.3 x 62 mm mauser? I've heard it really doesn't start until you reach .500 caliber cartridges. This coming from guides such as Ganyana. Thanks in advance, jfm

Saeed's main rifle for buff, is his 375/404 wildcat.

I never owned a 375 H&H therefore I am not familiar with the cartridge and it's limitations but I was just wondering what if any shortcomings brought on the desire for a 375 RUM or other boosted 375?

I think it is the lack of the belt, and the ability to push it a little faster. JD DRSS 9.3X74 tika 512 9.3X74 SXS Merkel 140 in 470 Nitro
