Thought to share a positive, unintended consequence of posting at AR. Awhile back, another member posted link to an internet sale of a big bore rifle. I wanted to bid on the rifle but did not want to give my CC# to the auction site. This concerned the seller and as he was internet savvy, he found my posting/responses at AR. After this, the transaction proceeded, and i am now the happy owner of a new rifle.

I guess AR is a public record of our ideas and thinking and i suppose indicates something about the person behind the postings and the responses they receive.

If you have an American Express charge card, they will provide you with a one-time use account number for your transaction. This provides protection against misuse of the card, and keeps your information safer.

Also if you ever need I hear that through RiteAid you can purchase temporary set amount credit cards.
