Recently got the bug to acquire a .444 Marlin rifle. Considered having one of the falling blocks rebarreled, but now I see that Marlin has a laminated stock, stainless, 24" barrel model lever action called the 444 XLR.

Supposedly, this rifle was made to complement Hornady's LeveRevolution ammo.

Anyone have any experience with this particular rifle? Best price I've found so far is $570.

Jon,

You might want to pose this question in the Lever Action forum, as well.
