| Dave ,, Thanks for the info......I put a 1" Burris 1.5x6 x40 mm on my 416 because I couldn,t find any 30 mm rings for it.....I,de like to try the 1.5-5 Leupold circle dot scope.....I really like this burris tho...It,s brilliantly bright and crisp... Thanks again gumboot.......

| Who makes a good set that are low. I have Burris on mine for a 1" tube and they are way too high. Only height they make. The Leupold would be much better closer to the action. |

You make a valid point....many QD mounts look higher than I would like as well. I think that it's likely just a necessary trade off for having the QD ability.
Talley QD mounts come in Low, Med, High & Ex High if I read their website correctly.
AR member Wink has posted several pics of his cz550 .416 Rigby w/ a set of the Talley QD Lever mounts and a Leupold VX-III 1.5x-5x scope. They don't terribly high to me.... FWIW.
Do a search under his name and you will find the pics.

| I received the Quick Detach rings, I am very happy with them, they are really sturdy. Not cheap, but I can recommend them to anyone because of the quality of the product. |
