Marc Jamison of Jamison Intl. called me today and told me he is shutting the doors, going out of business, as of the end of next week. He will no longer be making or selling brass. We have until early in the week to place orders that they can fill and ship before they close. This is tragic, hopefully they can resurrect.

That is terrible news. Thanks for letting us know. I'll be buying another 100 500 Jeffery cases.

Regards,

Chuck

Agreed, just terrible, I like their brass - quality stuff.

Guess i'll have to buy some 375 FL and 600OK brass "just in case".

That is sad news, they made great brass for some great calibers from 600 OK on down. I just picked up another hundred pieces of 500 Jeff. This economy is a SOB.

I also just placed an order.
Not good news, this is a quality outfit with great products and service. I hope they can recoup.

Absolutely terrible news...I wish him the very best, and, second Wayne's hope that he can come back from this tremendous loss to his family, friends, and to us all.

Respects,

Phill

9.3x64 ordered. Hate to order on these terms, wish it was not out of others misfortune.

Not that is matters now, but does anyone know why? I would at least like to think it is the economy and not something worse like illness.

Wow ... that is terrible news. The original Bell and the BeLL and then Jamison did as much as anyone to make African chamberings live again.

Sad indeed!

One would think that Norma and Hornady producing factory brass and loaded ammo would have a bit to do with it as this would increase the supply of brass available on the market.

Norma and Hornady dont come close to the variety that Jamison sells.
They will be missed.

Cheers, John

Agree, but in a recessionary environment, every bit helps and if Europe / US are both "on the slow" and you have more brass available, you have to wonder.

but then again, they did mention partners !!!

Partner and associated legal fees were a huge burden. I hope that a new company will emerge out of the wreckage, wholly owned by Marc and stronger for the breakup....
