Gents,

I am looking for a good, reliable and responsible custom ammunition maker to deelop and make ammunition for my big bore guns (.470 NE, .500 MDM, .500 NE, .500 Jeffery and .577 NE). Would any of you recommend me one please?

Thank you in advance.

Stan

+1 for
Larry at Superior. He will also do a sample pack (5 cartridges) of different bullets and loads in each caliber so you can see what your gun handles best. Very reliable and handles the odd big bores well.

I've used both Superior and John LaSala at Safari Arms and have found that both provide great products.

Another vote for John LaSala. www.safariarms.com

He's also a booking agent and has some really fine African safaris available.

Another vote for John LaSala; great guy. Awesome customer service. You can usually find him at the Barnes booth at DSC or SCI.

He will make up a box with four or five different loads that you can try.

I haven't hunted that much, but I've always hunted with his ammo.

Just had Larry do exactly this for me, got the samples, tried them, got back with him, had the desired bullets loaded and shipped very quickly.

Looking across the room at them and the pile of stuff to be packed before next Thursday night. Just got back yesterday at 0800 from a week in Alaska, too much going on.

Another tu2 for Larry Barnett at SUPERIOR AMMUNITION. He has loaded my african ammunition ever since I had a failure with a Federal load on DG over 13 years ago.
