Here's another clip for all you big bore fans. This one is of a friend of mine taking his first ever shot with a 500A2... We call him "Rubberneck".... This one is 2.2MB so it takes a little longer to download. I am sure you will like the soundtrack on this one, so make sure your speakers are turned up. Canuck

Ya see why a "select" group of people like the big-bores? He was smiling and laughing after he pulled the trigger. What more could you want? More bullets and powder to get more jollies I say.

Canuck, It does not as if that rifle has a muzzle brake. Mike

Hi Mike, The rifle is owned by 470Mbogo. It does not have a muzzle break. Here's a picture of the rifle. It is a real beaut... If I remember correctly, the load we were shooting that day is a 600 gr cast bullet with something like 118gr RL 15 for a tad over 2400 fps. Definately gets your attention, but was also thoroughly enjoyable (provided you are also a sick big bore freak ). Canuck [ 08-23-2002, 23:59: Message edited by: Canuck ]

Canuck, I have owned 2 460s but have always backed way from 50 cal because of bullets But now that I have ordered my Corbing bullet making gear for 416, I have thought about getting dies for 50 cal. Also, I am now at the stage where I wear ear muffs in the field with any gun, so the muzzle brake is becoming more acceptable. No doubt a CZ 416 to 500 A2 is the easiest way to 50 cal In 50 cal I would make 500 grain versions of the 45/70 300 grain hollow points. Mike
