This auction was found on Gunsinternational. I have no interest in it, ohter than to show it to people on this forum. It appears to be a magazine or tube feed 375 bolt action that loads through a side gate like a Wincehster lever action. Again, just for the novelty of it.

Sorry, I edited the link so it should work now. I just didn't want to get in trouble for posting a link to a live auction, but you really have to see this!

That was neat! Winchester only made 10 of those standard weight barrels in 375 H&H. I wonder if that is one of the ten or if it is a rebore?

I would like to see the other guns that he built.

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

I've seen number 2. Its at the fine gun room in the Denver Bass Pro. Its a very interesting firearm, rather heavy and a bit awkward, but solid and smooth.

He must have been quite the genius/machinist. The reels he made were used by the likes of Zane Grey and Ernest Hemingway. He was probably one of the founding members of the Avalon Tuna Club. One of his reels, in unused/mint condition is being sold on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/Arthur-Kov...r-Used-/280562800843 If I was a tackle collector, I'd be on it like a duck on a junebug.

Very interesting, indeed! I can't figure out how the magazine works.

With that action, I bet it's on the heavy side.
