jeffeossoexcellent pics, all the way down to the "tre-bucket!"...
I hadn't even seen a trailerpark engineered seige (a TRUE assauly weapon) and scrounged... (my god, that's a transformer housing for the counterweight, aint it)... on a trailer, that looks light enough to be pulled by an import!!!
what were they flinging with that? bowling balls? the 4" angle must be the slide rails, but I don't see anything heavy enough build to be the stopping arm to make it FLING
wow

I am glad you enjoy them. I sure had a great time and met some great people as well.
Here are a few more of the Tre" in action. I believe it was throwing a 4lb concrete cast ball.
There are lots of cables and counter-wires to hold it together during the strain of the toss. You can see the fuse smoking prior to the fling.
I thought it was actually very humorous that it also has a scope sighted aiming device until I saw how accurate it was.

Charles_HelmGreat pictures! Am I the only one who finds the use of spotting scopes with black powder cannon anachronistic?
Be careful if you are in Jeffe's neighborhood as I could see a trebuchet showing up in his back yard any day now...

Hog KillerFrank, looks like that was a real fun time event. Wish I was there to shoot with those guys.
That only thing slower than loading those cannons, is down loading these pictures on dial-up.

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.
