Just purchased a Ruger M77 in the .416 Rigby, with Circadian Walnut, NIB for $1850.00 plus tax. Seems to be an excellent rifle. It does seem to have more felt recoil than the same rifle in a .458 Lott.

A nice used one about 1350.00 and a NIB about 1500.00-1600.00 seems to be right. I bought a real nice one here for 1300.00 about a year ago. With the economy right now, you may have to settle for a little less.

I agree with the above.

I really like my RSMs in Rigby and Lott. Good rifles.

Ruger RSM rifles have gone up since a year or 2 ago around here,check around,they are asking 1850.00 up to 2000.00 today,they are not as cheap as they were a few years back but nothing is the same...also the 458lott is harder to find,not one in every store...I heard the 458lott was being dropped by ruger ..but i hear all kinds of stuff hanging around gunshops...good luck!

Heck, I got an "as new" RSM in .375 H&H that I will sell for $1200. Let me know if anyone is interested and I will send pictures.

In the last three months, I purchased a .416 Rigby, a 458 Lott, and a .375 Ruger. The .416 and the .458 are Rugers with the upgraded Walnut (Circassian). The .375 is also a Ruger but is in the standard Walnut. Paid $1850.00 each for the .416 and the .458 ,and $850.00 for the .375. All from a retail sporting goods store. On the internet I could find the .375 NIB from $750.00 to $799.00 to $850.00.

I owned one of the first production runs of the Ruger 458 Lott... Shot terrific and then I took it to Africa and shot a buf and a bull ele... It worked and then I went back to Africa thanks to my winning the AR buf hunt.. My friend loaned me his double 450#2 and I fell deeply in love with her and sold my Lott... She went to a very good home of a big bore shooter...
