What is the factory standard front sight height on a 416 rigby?

Remove the sight insert and look at the underside. There will be a number stamped there. My .458 came with a #6, although I had to get a #14 to bring it down to point of aim. #14 is the tallest.

the number is the MM in height...

take it out, super glue a matchstick or toothpick in.. file to zero, tap it out with a sharp edge, measure the height as compared to your original, and that's what you order to replace.

clean up superglue with acetone
