Anyone used the Privi Partizan .375 H&H ammo? It's certainly cheap and I wonder if it could be used for practice if not for hunting. I'm seeing soft point and FMJ for a little over a dollar a round.

Never worry about theory as long as the machinery does what it's supposed to do.

Where is this ammo available, and how much is the price for a box of 20? Thanks, Bill.

I've shot some of it for practice but I'm told tthe bullets are too fragile for very heavy use. It was accurate enough and the price was right.

Duc,

don't believe that for a minute. They use it boar hunting in Europe. The price is the problem...for overpriced American companies.

I believe midway has it for $30 a box. The reviews say it has trouble feeding though.

Privi Partizan is sold here as Highland Ammunition. In 9.3 it is consistant and reliable. SP projectiles are conventional but good enough for anything on the soft side of Buffalo. FMJ's would be, well, FMJ's.

I imagine in .375 they would handle anything in the USA.

Ammunition To Go shows 20 rounds of soft point for $26.95 and 100 rounds of FMJ for $128.95.

I bought my Privi Partizan .375 H&H ammo (FMJ) for $26.00/box of 20 at a local gun show. The dealer had lots of it. I only bought two boxes, but wish I would have bought more. It is very accurate, 2 inch groups @ 100 yards... yes, I know that you accuracy nuts will scoff at this, but it is good for me. The only thing I noticed is that it seems to have more recoil than other factory loads (Remington, Hornady). I will definitely buy more boxes at the next gun show, if still available.
