man i cant wait to use my 700 on a big jumbo i moved my hunt up to april 26 2004 i will be hunting hippo buffalo and trophy elephant all with the 700 my back up will be a ruger 1 in 458 lott shooting woodleigh 500 soft points and barns mono solids.(possible bridger solids i like the flat point idea.

One Troll defending another! Haven't we seen this approach before? They can't spell because they aren't very smart! Unfortunately, there are new folks on this site that don't know that 700 Nitro and ScottS are confirmed trolls. Oh they change their usernames frequently enough and PRETEND to be nice guys, but eventually they are caught in some obvious lie or other BS. Naw, 700 Nitro used to be BPBB and made up a bunch of stuff about rifles he claimed to have but didn't. He finally came clean and seems to have won the lottery or inherited some money and now actually may have a 700 Nitro. Aside from a lack of secretarial skills on his posts he seems alright to me know.

Steve S is Todd E, amongst other nom de plumes, had a mental breakdown on the screen about this time last year when he realized that other people on this site actually had the rifles they claimed to have. He thought that everyone cruised the internet snagging pictures of rifles and claiming them for his own like he did.

I'm just making sure that the honest decent folks who post here know about these two trolls. 700Nitro seems to have cleaned up his act except for the constant bragging about his 700. I'm glad he has one but come on do you have to start every conversation describing it? The issue about deleting Karl's post is also a constant reminder of his well established character. A man who can't be bothered with even using proper english probably isn't value added here and certainly should not be trusted as a moderator!!!! ScottS/ToddE/Axel/Judy ( I know I've missed some) is another issue. IF HIS LIPS ARE MOVING HE IS LYING! His MO is always the same. He blathers on about the same stuff all the time under different names. ( How Many of you know about 405 winchesters, 500 AHR's , 50 Beowulfs etc) Makes up facts, is called on them and then proceeds to have a public mental meltdown which always ends in his famous apology and decision to leave the site. He comes back almost exactly a month later as a new "entity" but can be recognized by his fixation on the SAME OLD STUFF! His writing style is distinctive although he has tried to hide that too. After 3 years here hunting this turkey, I can literally smell him!Like a vampire he just keeps coming back!You can't kill him, but he loves to be disgraced! It really makes you wonder how this guy functions in the REAL WORLD! Do I have the MO correct ScottS? He's not an idiot, and is very adept at finding arcane information from other web sites. However, he is dangerous as he makes claims about cartridge performance and rifles that he actually has ano experience with and unfortunately there are lots of new people here who may believe him and get hurt in the process. He constantly tries to challenge people who know much more than he does like Butch Searcy and D'arcy Echols and has done more damage to the credibilty of this site than anyone else. A number iof us petitioned the moderators to have him sanctioned and I think we got close once before to having him permanently removed, however that is not the policy Saaed has santioned and thus we simply need to deal with him. I have owned 460 WM, 500 A-Square, 505 Gibbs, etc. I do not use Quickload to determine what the ballistic performance of a cartridge is, I load it up and chronograph it. I have found Quickload to be erroneous at best (10% error is pretty big when you are shooting a 500 ANYTHING) I do not post here often, it has been about 10 months, and do not intend on posting often, either! If you don't like my posts ignore them, or simply state your objection I will honor your opinion and not fight with you. I suggest you simply ignore me, and I will do likewise.

Remember one can only discredit those, whom have no credibility to begin with. Relax, man!! No one here is your enemy, least of all me!

So can we have peace and co-exist? I am offering an olive branch.

BTW, thanks for running the Quickload simulation of my 400gr, 405 Win loads, nice to see what the computer model has to say. I could believe that the load in question is mid 60's, there is NO denying it is hot. Personally, Rob I would not shoot the rifle at those levels, and do not plan on doing it again. Oh yeah, don't ask for the recipe cause you ain't getting it.
