I drag the trap guns out to the club about twice a week. (Retired, eat yer heart out!)

12 Gauge O/U . . . and some of the shooters are using 20 gauge because it's "trendy."

I hear comments like, "Well, it' just knocks me around." and "20 gauge because it doesn't beat me up like the 12."

Ruger No. 1, .458 Lott -- 500 gr. and loaded max w/ 4895. I like to shoot it just to remind me that I own a big bore, and that it really will stop an elephant.

Push me back a couple paces and clears my head. I love it!

Now the real question, can you hit the doubles at the trap range with the 458?

With that title I was expecting to see SAFARIKID here with one of his ultra light 600 OKs or his 4 bore double.
