I read Marlin Talk for a long time and finally joined under the user name "Camp Cook" it was a very good forum I learnt alot and most of the people on there where very helpful. I had purchased my first Marlin 19894cb 45 colt 1.5 years ago for Cowboy action shooting and also started using it for hunting. My other Marlin is the new 1895GS 45-70 S/S guide gun. I'll be using this rifle for hunting and also I am working as a prospector now so it is my camp/pack gun. I hope that someone starts the new site because I'll be there!

It's a shame, I got started on message boards there. Guess I will be around here more often....
