I have some CBC 20 guage brass cases that I want to load .622 bullets into. The problem is the inside diameter of the cases is .658.

Does anyone have a do-it-yourself method to resize the case mouths to fit these bullets?

My plan is to put 28 grains of trailboss behind these and shoot them in my nef handi-rifle 20 guage superslug barrel.


My first attempts at using a pex crimp tool failed badly. :P

Some dies will size them down. Maybe like the 12ga
cowboy dies that RCBS has for thin brass.I haven't found any yet.
You need a die made for thin brass in that 20ga cases.
Now those cases a 2.5 inches, and if you can't get something
specifically for them , Other things to do, get a die blank
and make a die, have die made special at CH4D,RCBS,etc Or use a 600NE die.
Or get bunch of the 3" RMC brass cases which have thick
sides to match 20ga chamber.And regular dies like I found a set made
by Hollwood, will work.. ..Well there is a 5th best thing is
what I have, get 3.5" RMC brass, lengthen chamber, and get nearly
the aquivalent of a 600NE. That way you can load and shoot 3.5"
long 20ga plastic also.. Ed

I tried to size Cabelas 20-gauge brass cases in my .600 nitro sizing die with the idea that it was short, but inexpensive, brass for my .600. The brass is so thin the sizing die crinkled the cases and only a few of the box of 35 survived the process. A quick solution may be to contact Rocky Mountain Cartridge and have some cases made to your specifications.
