2 min. 36 sec. of serious hoots & giggles, along with some rockin' music.

Then there's the link to a discussion of the .577 T Rex. 750 gr. Woodleigh running circa 2284 fps.

I expect the "8690" is ft/lbs energy. That's more than 4 1/4 tons -- Big SUV doesn't weigh that.

Our load for this one generate 2581 fps with a 750 grain bullet.

This translate to over 11,000 foot pound of energy!

Great video! The music just totally caps it off!

I just purchased a Ruger No. 1 in .458 Win. Mag. and sort of expected that maybe it'd push me across the range or jump out of my hands.

Nahhhhhhhhhhhh . . . . 500 gr Hornady, 74 gr. H 4895 and it's a big ol' pussy cat. *S*

If you like abusing yourself 45-70 - you should chat with Ed Hubel - he recently launched a 750 grain FN solid past 2700 FPS.......

Just a couple of questions:

1. Are any of those guys still your friends after you let them shoot this rifle?

2. How often do you have to replace that glass?

Big Grin

Salaam.

Just curious about:

1. How many people have had to goto the hospital with a broken or dislocated shoulder after firing the T Rex?

2. How many people have asked to fire it a second time?

Seems like there should be some sort of "gun tether" you could hook up so the gun doesn't bounce off the floor.

I have no problems with dislocated shoulders, bloody noses, being hammered against the door jamb. But having any of my precious firearms bounce off the floor or walls makes me gnash my teeth.

Lotsa videos on YouTube of Bubba having the "big gun" get entirely away from him.

Big Grin

I see we have combined our efforts, David.

Saeed probably has us on ignore after this.
