I'm going to pick up some for plinking, etc -- any suggestions for a good, ready made load for one?

The cheapest plinking load I have seen is the Winchester 510 grain Super-X soft point load. I bought mine online based on a recommendation here when I had trouble finding it in stock. I also picked up 100 rounds of solids on closeout at Midway a while back.

Graf's has the 510-grain in stock at $57.99. Natchez has it for less - ~$52.

The lighter loads I saw in stores were not a lot cheaper, but I may have been in the wrong stores. A lot depends on why you are plinking and if you want heavier loads for practice. For pigs, I do not see how you could find a load that was too light!

I've got 5 boxes of Federal 500 gr. solids that I will sell for $35.00 a box, plus shipping.

I've been buying Hornady 500 FMJ-RN for plinking/reload fodder.
