Ed,

If i can speak for Jeffe, the brass will be formed and nicely trimmed. The 416 rigby Horneber brass i got previously is simply beautiful stuff! Trimmed and beveled!

BTW, the 505 Horneber brass weighs about 10% more than Bertram and the length is 3.142"

steve

Ed, if nothing else works out you can try to get some .408 Chey-Tac brass picked off the line before it gets through the final forming steps.

I tried that maybe two years ago (I was after .505 Gibbs brass. .408 Chey-Tac is necked down HD .505 Gibbs brass), getting the e-mail address for the .408 Chey-Tac maker off the Long Range Shooting forum, but he said only finished brass was available. That might have changed.

Ed,

Don't know of any. sorry, i been having my hands full with just the regular gibbs. It is possible to use the softer Bertram and somehow re-form to straight?

Jeffe,

your email does not seem to respond, so am posting here. Please send either PM to me here or to my user email under Steve505 with the UPS tracking number as the brass is not here 2/23, so need to track the package. Thanks

steve
