I was watching Under Wild Skies the other night and was wondering if anyone could give me the details on what kind of bolt rifle that Johann Coelitz carries? Thanks in advance.

Johan has a 500 jeffery, don't know which gun you are talking about as I have not seen the episode,but that might be it.

It is the episode where Tony takes a Botswana elephant with a 475 Turnbull 1886 Winchester. Johann's rifle is what my dream rifle would look like. Thanks for the reply.

An update. I received an answer from Mr. Coelitz's assistant letting me know she forwarded my request to the gunsmith who built the rifle. He sent me a series of pics. A truly beautiful rifle. It is a takedown with two barrels, one in 500 Jeffery and the other in 416 Rigby. I have emailed him if it is all right to post the pics on this forum. If he gives me the go ahead I will do it.
