like regular Savage bolt actions with nut.Muzzle is .915.

Have you progressed any further with the bolt action Savage 12 gauge? I find myself giving more and more serious thought to hot rodding one, using full length brass 3" cases. Can you tell me the thread size and pitch, please?

Did some calculations this afternoon, but I wasn't sure about the actual thread size, so I guessed. These initial calculations looked very promising. By the way, I am only considering going to 18 to 21 ksi, shooting hollow point 600 to 650 grain bronze conicals.
