On April 18th, I made a deal to trade a Whitworth 375 H&H for a CZ550 in 416 Rigby (Thanks Brett!).......I finally got to bring the rifle home today! It has been a lesson in patience...... no major problems..... just took forever.....but it was worth the wait!

This is the first CZ550 magnum I have ever actually seen......strange, but I have looked for them at all the gunshows I attend, including the huge Tulsa gunshow twice a year.....and I have never seen one.......I am impressed with the quality and can't wait to shoot it! This one came with the factory test target.....3 shots under 1.5"....not bad!

Can someone tell me what the little wrench is for that came with it? I thought it was to adjust the sights.....but I can't see how?

Thanks, Mark

Hey Mark,

Congrats on the new boomer! I know what an ordeal this was for you. Doesn't the wrench operate the jack to get it up to your shoulder??? [Wink] Sorry...couldn't resist.

Do you think you will change the stock out along with your fine tuning?

I guess you will be spending some time at the loading bench......like you don't already!

Keep us posted,

Bob

Congratulations! I believe that the wrench is used to disassemble the bolt assembly. Enjoy the rifle!

I thought the tool was for trigger adjustment. I don't see myself using it though. How do you like the set trigger?

The trigger on my rifle has been replaced with the "AHR" trigger......so I can't say whether I'd like the set trigger or not.

I got one today too. Been thinking about it for 2 years. I have a 9.3, 375 and a 458 by CZ. I couldn't resist the 416 any longer. Raining now but tomorrow the sun will shine and my shoulder will be sore for Monday.
