I don't have the Sako 416R, but I do have a Sako 375. It is one of my favorite rifles and I have more than 30 to choose from. for the money I think it is better than Ruger, Win or CZ. I have a 416R model 70 and a Sauer 416R. The Sauer is great but there is a huge differance in price. CHEERS

I have Sako AV Hunters in both 375 and 416. they are both awesome rifles. Very smooth. I believe the Safari model holds four down instead of three. I really like the stock fit for my frame/face. The 416 is a very usefull cartridge. John Noak

The Safari model is I believe either discontinued or at least no longer imported into USA. Champlin Firearms has a 375 for sale at this time. They are really nice rifles. I don't ever recall seeing larger than 375 but I may be wrong.

I have a Sako 75 in 416 and jsut ordered a Winchester 70 Stainless in 375 and a CZ550 in 458 lott. Was going to trade the Sako, primarily due to the controlled round feed, does not have express sights or barell band sling. Nice gun, never shot it, Think I am making a mistake getting rid of it?
