I figured I would ask for help with this on this forum. I have a fired round (range pick up) that was fired in something (not the correct gun) that left the neck opened to .327 I have no idea what it could have been. How about an 8mm which is .323 bullet diameter but once fired the case would open and allow a new .323 bullet to fall in. This is provided the .327 is an inside case mouth measurement. Take care 470 Mbogo | |||

Probably a 8x57 or a re-chambered 8x57 from a slop (battle) chambered military rifle....they have excessive necks to allow for dirt, mud, ice etc. | |||
