Does the Ruger Alaskan (416) come with the front sling swivel mounted on the stock or is on the barrel?

The Ruger website still shows it as mounted on the stock..... Confused

The first edition may have been on the stock forearm.
They are now different.
The one I bought in August has the factory installed barrel band sling base that is stainless to match.
I have posted a picture of it here before.
Search and ye shall find,
but only if ye wish.
