since i saw a thread on the bore diameters, it put me to thinking about another "project"... the 28 ga has a bore diameter of .550... what about a 577/450 steyr/martini rebarreled to 28 bore (.550) and using plastic cartridges instead of brass???..... how would the plastic hold up with a single projectile, i know theres' no way to "crimp", but to shoot cast would be a thumper....or does anybody have any brass 28 ga shotshells????...

go big or go home ........

magtech makes brass 28 bore cases, or at least they did.
but you can use plastic as well, there is a lot of paradox gun owners that reload their ammo with plastic

best
