< !--color--> $1,900 is a fair price. The only negative would be if you're a CRF fanatic. Lou

Took a .375 to Botswana 1988, shot everything with it. Fine rifle. Held 5 in the box, one in the chamber, very glad for the big capacity when I had to shoot a buffalo four times and thought he was going to get up yet again. Suggest you file the rear open sight to a shallow V and paint a white triangle under it, sight it in with a collimator and then check it on a 50 yard target, mine was right on. Got back to the US, had it rebarreled to .300 H&H, for open country work, also held 6, and bought another .375 to match. Both had Loop 1.5-5x. Never went back to Africa, sold them both, new owner has been to Africa I think a couple or three times with the matched pair. Understand that Sako only made 500 or so of them. The .338 and .300 Win Mag only hold four in the box.

Also, get the bolt guide pinned in place.

I've got one in 300 Win Mag. I like the rifle and used it alot though it hasn't been out of the safe in several years.

Duane Wiebe designed the stock for Sako and carved the pattern. He told me several artistic sacrifices had to be made to allow for volume replication. Nonetheless, it's a very nice stock for a factory rifle.
