A while back, you seemed near to closing the deal on a George Hoenig built Mauser, 460 G&A caliber and sister to Jeff Cooper's "Baby".

Did you pick up that rifle, and when are we going to see pictures?

I sold that rifle for George back when along with several others..I did shoot it a good deal while I had it and when loaded down it had less recoil at 458 top velocities than any 458 I had ever shot, I believe because of the less pressure in that larger case...Its a great rifle that belonged to a dear friend of mine..

Jeff,
I am so screwed up today, delete both of my posts, Not only did I have the gun wrong, I was thinking George Hoffman, not Hoenig...but I did have a nice visti with George Hoenig at a shoot in Oregon a month or so ago....He had is double rifles there and I got to shoot those works of art....
