Looking for some suggestions on types and source for iron sights to put on my 375. I want them to be tall enough to be seen over the Talley QD mounts. One leaf is plenty as long as it is adjustable. My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

You don't say what rifle but I like the N.E.C.G/ERA pedestal base rear and masterpiece front ramp. Available from Brownells. Fully adjustable. I use a red fiber optic front blade. SCI Life Member NRA Patron Life Member DRSS

My rifle has Talleys and a quarter rib with a pretty small standing sight and the NECG barrel band front sight. Nothing particularly tall regarding the express sights and no problem seeing everything over the Talley bases. Don't notice them at all. JPK Free 500grains

I have tried a peep sight that's mounted on the firing pin rear. Don't plan on using a scope as it's a 416 Rigby. Custom made by Tom Delucchi. I've seen similar styles on old Mausers but only in pictures. Always thought they were neat looking so I bit the bullet and put out the guidas. Rifle isn't finished yet but can't wait. The peep may or may not work with the scope bases....have to check with the maker.LOL
